I really can’t urge everyone to read/listen to Robert Caro enough.

Caro does his own audio as well?

I have a (heavily abridged) audio CD version of Master of the Senate read by someone else.

I haven’t listened to anything from audible or Amazon’s audio service. (if they’re different).

I’ve been listening to Shelby Foote’s Civil War volumes on audio CD (MP3 format). In the middle of Volume II. These are read by Grover Gardner who I find pretty tolerable.
