we didnt even remotely aproach the brutality of the axis powers. not even remotely.

Read some of the links in 417 and tell me if you would stay in one of those camps for the duration of the war. Poor sanitation, little food, poor housing, poor to non existent medical care. Our camps, except for not wanting to kill the occupants, were as bad as those run by the axis powers.
