In their warped heads it’s only poor people that will benefit from such things so of course it’s immoral. Sigh. Seriously though, what’s immoral is thinking the only payback that exists in this world is via money and things. Everything else is a waste, unless of course it directly benefits them. Education is a key out of poverty which in turn benefits everyone. Just like investments in roads and bridges, the power grid and other infrastructure benefits all of us. It must suck to be blinded by partisan bullshit, what a small and miserable life that must be.

They will argue that every fetus is a potential Einstein to prohibit abortion, but refuse to feed, clothe, or educate so that the potential can be achieved. If your principles vanish when they make you uncomfortable, they’re not principles.
