Being a lame duck president who has been all but abandoned by his party has an upside. Since he has nothing to lose, he can now start acting like the guy we thought we elected, and there’s nothing the GOP can do to stop him.

In fact, if he’s really cleaver about it, when the GOP tries impeaching him it could actually piss off a large part of the country because he would now be trying to do things for them.

From your lips to G-d’s ears, but given the results of last week’s elections, I’m not very hopeful of even that scenario.

It’s as if a majority of people in this country like getting hopped up on hate and fear and getting fucked over by their TPGOP “betters”.
