I remember when Chris Cross was THE breakout star and every top 40 radio station would play his songs over and over. Then, poof! It’s like he had his 15 minutes of fame, and was sent the cutout sections of the record stores.

He did okay for a while. Had a couple of hits, did the theme song to one of the ‘Arthur’ movies, made a pile of money.
