In reading various social media comments about Paige Patterson, lots of old religious guys are whining about this or that…

The worse are those complaining about Samantha Bee’s language … this from people who are open Trumpers.

The Southern Baptist Convention is the largest Protestant denomination in the USA. In their upcoming convention, Mr. Patterson is still listed as a speaker at the convention. It will be interesting to see if they bounce him out of that.

There’s lots of handwringing over “no true Christians” but from my outside view that’s tough for me to swallow in combination with “largest Protestant denomination.”

I wonder if there will be a schism in the SBC?
