Yep, he’s a paleo Trotskyite who thinks that the EU is a neoliberal plot and hates it because the Soviet Union hated it. His cunning plan, which he refuses to articulate, is to force another election so Labour will be elected with him as PM, and continue with Brexit as the Great Lexit of his dreams where the EU wouldn’t interfere with him nationalizing the railroads and steel mills. Most of the stuff that the left wants to do that is actually politically viable is perfectly doable within the EU (yanno, Denmark and Sweden do just fine in it), but he’s not listening. Also, the masses are yearning for true socialism but just haven’t had the right leader: where have we heard that one before?
