Trump voters are too stupid to realize the change in parties. My brother — who should know better — tried to discuss one of Dinesh’s movies from a few years ago. He said that it pointed out Al Gore’s father voted against the 1964 CRA. And I pointed out that was over 50 years ago — before the great political realignment. In any case, it had nothing to do with Al Gore’s voting record. But my brother still seems to believe that the Dems are the real racists. There is something in the Texas drinking water that turns previously somewhat same people into raving GOP lunatics.

They want to call themselves the Party Of Lincoln, while believing Lincoln was a tyrant who unconstitutionally attacked the states who seceded, which they only did to prove the entirely academic point that they could - nothing to do with slavery! Except they were Democrats, so they totally were all about slavery, and we should leave all the monuments to them up, because they were all about freedom.

Or something….
