Any vaccine is going to find itself rejected by large parts of the population. It would still lower the transmission rate, but keep in mind that those idjits who reject the vaccine will also be likely to ignore or reject any other common-sense methods to reduce the spread of infections.

What we really need to get the economy and public life back in full swing is quick, reliable testing - one that produces results within minutes and can be used at all large gatherings and public events.

And this is BEFORE we find out limitations in the virus (e.g., who shouldn’t take it, which groups have limited efficacy with it and so forth).
