Think about how much money in college jersey sales there are. Tebow might not have needed the profits from every #15 Florida blue jersey bought, but he is the reason why so many were(are) sold. So what if his name is not on the back, nobody walks around in a UF #15 jersey saying its Eddy Pineiros jersey.
