What about all of us who access DOD Networks on our personal computers?

As long as the DOD authorizes a Cert for your laptop. It will still work.
Every few seconds the network will check and verify your cert and your PVK file (private encryption key) You can access the Network.. The second it doesn’t detect an authorized access cert Cisco shuts down the switch port you are on.. That includes WiFi Access.
