The GOP is threatened with losing majorities in Congress? Good. They should. They’re the ones responsible for Trump’s ascendancy and the detachment from fiscal realities and the constitutional requirement to provide for the General Welfare.

Fealty to an absolutist reading of the 2A, ignoring the separation of church and state under the 1A, rolling back the rights under the 13A and 14A, and depriving LGBT of their rights? That’s what the GOP stands for.

But hey, the GOP wants more tax cuts that will favor the rich!

Trump taking down the GOP this way is the closest the US can get to a rejection of an ideology they way countries that elect the entire government at once are able to do.
