Absurd, I agree.
For some reason, many people here are shocked and disappointed in Nat Turner because he didn’t practice nonviolent civil disobedience (as if that were possible in 1830 Virginia). And that Turner didn’t possess some sort of higher consciousness and a more sophisticated moral worldview than the people who owned him and controlled his entire life.
