I’ve been reading my old philosophy teacher’s memoir of teaching. He was and is quite liberal but he writes of having supported the war in Iraq due to the post 9/11 trauma many had. I didn’t have it but I sympathize with those who did and got led the wrong way by the administration.

Embarrassing evidence won’t go away. Thanks for the sympathy. It meant a lot to get ‘absolution’ from CuriousLurker. We are so fortunate she came back when she said she was leaving. Some of us will never forget her. {sigh}
