As a mother with little kids and a job like Governor, who would have thought less of her for not having much time to read newspapers? I think most working moms would have sympathized. But no- it was like a trick question to her. Unreal.

Sorry, Sharm. She took the gig. Unless she was a congenital idiot, she had to know what it would entail, (unless she was an idiot). This wasn’t a sportscasting job on KFUK in Idaho. This wasn’t a Governor’s job with a population less than my home town of Austin. This was running for the VP where you would be one miocardial infarction away from the Oval, and running two foreign wars with a banking system meltdown in progress.

So did them McCain team, who I blame for the debacle, really make the gravity of the situation real to her? I suspect not.
