It’s difficult for me to understand how we’ve glossed over history to the point where we’ve forget what demons we fought and beat once.

Did you ever see this documentary? I saw it in university - very chilling and very relevant, especially in the current political climate:

“The Wave”

The movie “The Wave” is based on a novel by Morton Rhue and is based on a true story that happened in 1967 at Gordon High School in Palo Alto. The teacher starts an experiment with his students trying to show them how the Nazi regime was able to influence so many people and why no one stopped them.
