The old testament advocates killing those who work on the sabbath. If a religious community were to carry this out, it would be murder.

As I said in an earlier post, name ONE instance when a Jew or Christian have been put to death for doing that in the last 2000 years. It’s the history of the children of Israel, and we Christians do not cherry-pick - we read it along with the NT.

Jimmah, please do not include yourself with the likes of Idioma who purposefully trashes Christianity/Jews. From your posts and karma, you are a thoughtful poster and I respect you for that. But to use the example of some wacko nut killing Dr. Tiller as an excuse to paint all Christianity with this broad bush and trash the Bible is just wrong. If you doubt me, then read my #99 post upthread.
