I see there Umar the underwear bomber has retained an attorney
and stopped talking to the police. He is being held in a
civilian jail . This man is not an American citizen , he is at
war with us and trying to kill our citizens . He should be in
Gitmo ! Oh that’s right we are closing Gitmo - hell I wonder
if he knew that- we have stopped all that Bush era sh#t WHY
DID HE ATTACK US??

Anyone arrested in the USA, and territories is given Miranda rights. Gitmo is/was for people picked up in other countries, on a battlefield, and is non-uniformed combatants (as defined by the Geneva convention).

Gitmo has never been used for anyone arrested in the USA.
