Why do they claim to love our country if they think secession was so great? Really neo-confederates, you can’t have it both ways. You can’t proclaim to love our country yet defend the Confederates. Sorry you just can’t. And you especially can’t accuse liberals of not loving our country. Frankly most of the people who served the CSA are lucky they didn’t get some serious punishment. It’s to Lincoln’s credit(the man many of them despise as a tyrant) seeking reconciliation above punishment that many Confederates including CSA leaders did not spend a day in jail.

They love the Jim Crow America of the 30s 40s and 50s, and want to “take their country back.”
