That’s just a LOT of hardware to be moving around (particularly when ammo if factored in). I’m not blaming anyone and I don’t expect people to be searching bags.

I guess what I am scared to hear is that he didn’t even hide all the guns—that he just walked in with one over his shoulder and it was ok because 2nd amendment.

People don’t walk around with riffles in Vegas (I’ve never seen it).
Mandalay Bay is an upscale casino resort. Every inch of the property outside of the bathrooms and hotel rooms is covered with security cameras.
He didn’t just waltz in carrying the guns. But, no one will pay any mind to someone bringing in a suitcase or 2, and the maids will respect a ‘do not disturb’ sign.
