There is no call to make. It is within the pastor’s rights, legally, to burn holy books. It is also within his rights, should he choose to do so, to protest funerals, advocate publicly for legalized cannibalism, and to buy political advertisements advocating the lowering of the legal age of sexual consent to 3 years old.

That doesn’t make any of it the right thing to do, just because it is legal.
