If they have any intelligence at all, they’ll go quiet try to convince the public that they’re not ALL nuts and hope people forget about the last 6 years.

The question is, can they face the fact that they made a bad gamble and that every damn thing they’ve done since Bush has been a mistake.

Hell Iraq and the tax cuts were huge mistakes too.

When was the last time they didn’t suck?

Bush the Elder. Tonedeaf on domestic issues, not much of a campaigner, but on foreign policy he was awesomesauce.

His Iraq war took 6 months, and cost $0.

His greatest achievement is what *didn’t* happen — when the wall came down, he smoothed the reunification of Germany, independence of a dozen former Soviet States, and end of the cold war to look like just another ordinary quiet day.
