This is why I don’t blame, say, the residents of a place like Tennessee for electing a guy like Bevin. I have a problem with condemnations like, ‘They didn’t elect his opponent so they deserve to lose their health care!’ They’ve been lied to since they were infants by the best liars in the world, and then get blamed for believing.

I agree that we shouldn’t advocate them losing things because of their voting, but at some point they have to grow up. How do you make them see what they are doing? Can you perform an intervention on a quarter of a state?
