But to do that, we have got to have a major effort at getting suppressed voters to have the proper IDs and to get them to vote early if possible. There is too much gerrymandering and voter suppression to ignore.

So those are tangible, achievable goals. Look at setting up an organization to assist minorities and low income folk with getting their voter ID in order on a state by state basis. Work to identify what worked in terms of getting out the vote and implement those measures across the country. These are some things Democrats should be doing.

And of course do what we can in the courts and in the legislatures to tackle those problems from the top down, but realize that we can attack these problems from multiple angles. Some people are going to be better at one type of problem solving, others at another tactic.
