Hunter S. Thompson rode in the back of a limo with Richard Nixon from New Hampshire to Boston.

Given what Thompson wrote about Nixon when he died, that’s something. I came to like W Bush more as a person as I realized we could probably talk baseball and not talk politics plus I think to Bush’s credit as a man, he’s someone you can disagree without being disagreeable. Shouldn’t have been president but not someone I’d take an instant disliking to if I ever met him.
