When you can convince yourself in the face of all the evidence that Evolution didn’t happen and the Earth is 6000 years old, convincing yourself that a sexual assaulting, thrice-married serial adulterer with a long history of cheating employees, investors, creditors, contractors, and wives is a godly man.

This is why I view creationism as the GOP’s training grounds for lie-telling.
