As if there hasn’t been enough cat stress around here of late…

I was eating my lunch when I heard a commotion in the living room. When I went to see what it was, I saw our young male bean go tearing by the doorway with the handle of a paper gift bag around his neck. I couldn’t catch him and he ran into the basement. I got to the doorway of the basement and he came running past me the other way into our storage area. He jumped up onto a shelf and literally disappeared. I was panicking and moving boxes and calling him. Freaking the fuck out.

I walked back into the den, thinking he might have gotten past me somehow. Not there. I walked back into the storage area and there he was. No bag around his neck, sitting calmly, and looking at me like ‘What?’.

Cats, man.
