I was just cooking up a batch of garden tomatoes, onion, green pepper and zucchini to serve as veggies for the week, and there was a POP and my Pyrex pot split all the way around, about an inch up for the bottom. ! I was only cooking on medium heat! Honest! And that has been one of my favorite pots for decades. Sob! And I had to throw out all those good veggies, just in case of glass splinters.

I had a Pyrex square pan explode when I was using it for hydrating artisan bread in the oven.

Quite the shocker!
(And the mess to clean up!)
