Sears had pretty much seen its day when I was a kid way back when.

It’s a relic of a long gone day. Montgomery Wards is gone. SS Kresge’s is really gone even though holding companies try to keep the “K-Mart” brand alive.

I too have bought Sears branded stuff in the past. It was fine, good even.

But they lost out to an America that values cheapness.

Walmart is America, America is Walmart.

Trump is the Walmart President.

Sears owns K-Mart…well, what remains of it, which is why it is circling the drain even faster these days, because Fast Eddie has been looting it too.
