Sorry to blather on about Starbucks, but if one of your friends, let’s call him Joe, came up to you and said, “Hey, man, I’m really pissed off because I can’t take my gun into Starbucks,” what would your response be?

Mine would be, “Dude, why the hell do you wanna take your gun into Starbucks?” What’s the threat? The baristas with their piping hot coffee machines? The hyper-caffeinated soccer moms? The coffee mafia? I know it’s all about the principle, but sometimes the details override the principle and we get into surreal territory.
