I just called and cancelled my print subscription to The Economist. When asked why, I noted that I did not wish to support an organisation that supports fascism, racism, and Holocaust denial by giving a platform to Steve Bannon.

They will refund me $86. Perhaps I can use that to support Little Green Footballs and Wonkette.

When I was done on the phone (with a person who seemed to have an accent in English) I noted that working for a fascist-promoting corporation told me more about her than she would know about me.

My wife said “good for you.”
