I suspect the Pedo shit was started by someone who needed to deflect some shit. Not accusing Alex Jones of molesting his kids but he definitely has a weird obsession with the idea that public figures he doesn’t like are child molesters.

It has a particular cache in American society, since it is about the worst thing you can accuse somebody of being and the mere accusation can ruin a life. That is why you see it used so so often in ugly divorce cases.
