Hitler’s comic-opera Beer Hall Putsch and subsequent prison was, for him at least, probably the best things that could’ve happened to him. If the putsch had succeeded, the Berlin central government would probably have ended up sending in the Army to put down the rebellion - and Hitler’s political career would’ve ended quite abruptly in front of a wall, facing a firing squad…which, truth be told, would probably have been better for the rest of the world.

Also too, Hitler was young for the putsch. DT is not.
