Those of us who grew up with a parent or two who were Holocaust survivors frequently heard that “it” can happen everywhere- including the US.

Most of us dismissed those opinions thinking we knew the United States better then our parent(s).

But then we didn’t know an America where Muslims threatened Jews openly and an Obama could be elected President.
