Larry’s Market (which unfortunately doesn’t exist any more) had a Cinco de Mayo sale one year. The signs said: “German cars, French wine, Mexican beer.”

I support the first two notions, but Mexican beers are not very good (and almost all big beer owned.) They’re better than Bud Light but cynically over-priced. Modelo Negro is the exception, and Modelo is good by macro lager standards.
