Well, if he’s anything like his namesake:

Ty Cobb is arguably one of the greatest ballplayers of all time. He was also, undoubtedly an asshole of the highest order.

My Pap-Pap, Nana’s father was friends with Honus Wagner and probably played amateur ball with him in the Burgh. Cobb’s a legitimate top 10 of all time but man I love Honus and not just because of my famliy ties. He was a gentleman. Never heard a bad word about him in Larry Ritter’s Glory of Their Times.
