This just doesn’t compute for me. If the protests did not increase the spread of covid then what is the reason for limiting any outdoor activity? Why would it spread more effectively on a beach for instance?

people are not keeping six feet apart on the sand

plus - waiting in lines -
congregating around where food is sold
bathrooms
in the water

on and on
