Seriously, this guy is 31 years old (or thereabouts), went to visit his great-grandma in Jackson, KY, for summer vacations and that makes him some sort of expert on Appalachian life where everyone is just like his family: violent lazy welfare alcoholic drug-addicted moochers because (and this really pisses me off) they are Scots-Irish and that’s how ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE BEHAVE.

That bad? Wow. Sounds like he wrote a cliche cartoon and not a book. I saw it was billed as a memoir. Must be a fictional memoir sub genre.
