I know. Itβs like the concept of a criminal cop is foreign to them. Castile deserved better.
And the thing of it is, this attitude is so pervasive that when it comes down to convicting a cop of anything, itβs virtually impossible, because people (whether implicitly or explicitly) place a higher level of trust in the police. I get it, no one wants to have their confidence shaken in the system of law enforcement, but putting on a blue uniform does not make one a god. We need to find a way to break this mold and hold our police accountable as regular people.
