Is there an expectation that Sanders take it easy on HRC to avoid making her run in the general less challenging? Well either it’s a real challenge and the usual hardball is appropriate as per playing in the big leagues, or we are kinda asking him to make a sham of the primary for her benefit.

Again, if he was targeting her alone, there would not be much fuss and it would be seen as legitimate party politics. But his tweet was so fucking broad that saying “Well, this is in response to Hillary” comes off as lame excuse-making. He’s pissed in the punch bowl and now we’re being told that complaining about it is wrong.
