I don’t see how the Steele dossier even damages the FISA warrant. It is obviously the only thing that Nunes can hang his complaint on, but it is easy to see the dossier comes after the initial FISA warrant that Nunes seems fine with.

So, by the third and fourth warrants when the dossier comes into play, how are we supposed to know how much weight the FISA court gave the dossier as compared to the findings the FBI collected with the first two warrants?

Nunes does not get into any of the other evidence* that may have been the meat the FISA court actually used to grant the warrant extensions.

In other words, the Steele Dossier may not have even figured into the extensions.

*My understanding based on what I knew previously, and bolstered by what Ari Melber did in his one expose last night, is the FBi collects info from their investigations and if they see a continuation of the activities or are sent in a new direction by what they find under previous warrants they can ask for an extension. The Steele dossier obviously was added as they found it. But Nunes has not let us know what else was in the warrant extension requests. That missing info may alone have been enough to grant the warrant extensions.
