It was about a mile or so from my house to the high school so it really wasn’t that bad. On more cold and icy days, I’d get a ride from my Dad since he was working evenigns in that time. The middle school was gosh 3-4 miles looking at it on Google Maps. I never walked to the Middle School but I did walk home a few times since there was a McDonalds nearby the Middle School and sometimes when we stayed after school to work on our shop projects or got extra help, we’d skip the late buses and go to McDs and then just walk home. Did all this before I got my cell. I don’t know how I did it.

I went to go look it up, it was actually a 2.8 mile walk from school to home. For someone who liked to be alone, it was actually a nice walk.

And my junior high school has been replaced by an elementary school.
