Not looking to dump on Europe. Many beautiful things from Europe —art, music, philosophy. Just get discouraged that Europe seems to be in the throes of re-emerging bad craziness.

Our scientific acceptance is actually declining. At least Europeans generally accept things like evolution. The anti-science, anti-intellectual atmosphere in the United State is and has been appalling for quite awhile.
