Northeast loses 40% of House seats as people flee high-tax states… http://t.co/Hc2FmCa4KJ— Drudge Report Feed (@drudgefeed) September 30, 2014
Fleeing because of high taxes; or is it because the weather here sucks in the Winter and people want to retire someplace sunny.
How soon before we start seeing massive moves from the Southwest and Southeast because of extreme drought and lack of water to keep all those golf courses and developments in deserts sustained? Or that another round of hurricanes will hit the Southeast and convince people that it’s not a good place to build along coasts? Or as those folks move to those parts of the country, they seek to replicate the level of services found in the Northeast and find that the people living there don’t want it (whether its mass transit, education, or infrastructure).
