I’m waiting for someone actually named Reagan to seek office as a Republican and ironically not be a fan of Reagan. Humor aside, I think it’s sad that none of these guys can be themselves so they all have to resort to being their idea of a man who left office nearly 30 years ago. Don’t get me wrong. I understand why Reagan matters to Republicans but it’s time to get over him and actually be yourself. Besides I don’t think Reagan was that special.

Do you mean the real-life historical Reagan or the rose-tinted-image-of-the-ideal-Republican-president Reagan? Only the latter counts for the GOP…
