This is evident in Birth Rates: The Birth Rate in the Middle East has smashed through the floor in the past 60ish years. And there are similar stories all over the Muslim World.

I am of the impression that this is not so, and certainly I am sure that in many places like Saudi the population is exploding. But I do not want to say I know this is for the same logic that the Catholic church presents, so I withdraw my suggestion that the two issues are similar.

Perhaps something to investigate in the future?
