Both Kansas and Kentucky (thanks to Rand) are caucus states and some are hypothesizing that Cruz will do well in both states, even the former.

If so, then this fight will be increasingly between Trump and Cruz. After Rubio and Kasich lose their home states Cruz will crow that he’s the only one to have won his home state.

I believe it will be easier for the Democrats to run against Cruz than to run against Cruz, as I fear many Americans are really into both trade protectionism and torture.
