I’m a happy gun owner, but our priorities are completely fucked and the official “pro-gun” side of politics has happily forfeited anything approaching dignity and decency. (I can’t even stand to read the NRA e-mails in my spam folder anymore)

A lot of that comes from the nearly-100% Venn Diagram overlap between “People who worship guns” and “People who think Obama is the Devil”, and the fact that hysterics are the only way to be heard anymore.

Tangential complaint: It would be nice if I could do anything firearms-related without some suspender-wearing yobbo on his second divorce start rambling about Obama and the gubmint … Same thing with gun-related forums. I can’t enjoy a hobby without somebody turning it into a soapbox. Being a liberal-minded gun owner is annoying. :P
