When the smallest pickups you can find new/almost new these days (AFAIK, that’d be the Nissan Frontier) are almost as big as a full-size pickup from 15-20 years ago, you know it’s ridiculous.

My old Ford Ranger was great. I had the back fixed up with a camper shell that was roomy enough for 1 or 2 people, it got great mileage and never let me down.
