I’m of two minds on this.

On the one hand, you’re right; maybe it was someone thinking they’re helping out, and getting carpet bombed out of the gate isn’t the greatest welcome wagon.

On the other? I’ve noticed most hatchlings tend to introduce themselves in the comments first, then make pages. Not always, of course. But given this person’s lack of posting and the never-ending wall of Gab screenshots? I’m highly skeptical.

Sure, it’s entirely possible they’re a troll and I’m wrong. But again, it costs me little to be nice, especially when there’s no clear evidence either way.

I give most people the benefit of the doubt once. Exceptions apply, of course, but he didn’t trip one of those.
